Vote for your favorite Thrushes 'Heartbeats' Remix
Thrushes 'Heartbeats' album coming this spring, vote for your favorite!
In January, Thrushes put out an open call to all their friends and fans to remix their hit song "Heartbeats" from their 2007 release 'Sun Come Undone' and the response was overwhelming. There were no firm guidelines and the remixers were free use as much or as little of the original track as they wished. They picked the 12 best remixes and SĒN Baltimore will be posting 2 new tracks a day all this week. Please let us know what you think by commenting below and vote for your favorites. Voting will begin once all the entries are revealed. Look for the "Heartbeats Remixed" album this Spring.

While I appreciate the surface efforts to add "implied ideas" to the original work I like best the remix of The Antlers and Jonesamatic. The Antlers added to the song in a deeper meaningful way that enhanced Anna rather than simply added more noise to her and Jonesmatic infused an upbeat rhythm that played up the tune without losing the original work. These two are the best. I cant wait till the voting starts. Vote for one of these boys!
