VIDEO: Creative Alliance Tour

Creative Alliance Tour from SENBaltimore on Vimeo.

Even if you’ve been to the Creative Alliance to see a band, a movie, or just view the art, you may wonder what goes on behind the scenes. SĒN Baltimore visited the Creative Alliance with cameras rolling to get a behind the scenes look at what goes on there and what the Creative Alliance has to offer.

One of the artists gave SĒN a view of her workspace/apartment and you get to view some of the artwork that she has created. The Patterson used to be a theatre in the 1940’s but has been converted into the Creative Alliance. There is a C.A.M. lab (Creative Alliance Moviemakers), this is a lab that members of Creative Alliance can visit to rent cameras and use the MAC computers. The Creative Alliance is a multifaceted home for the arts performance and visual, education programs, art workshops, theatre to band performances, two gallery spaces, and apartments for resident artists.

So whether you just want to get a taste of the artwork on display or you’re interested in the many other events and activities that the Creative Alliance has to offer, this video gives you a quick look into the Creative Alliance world. However, don’t let this video be your only experience of the Creative Alliance at the Patterson. Get down there and check it out for yourself.
