For Marisa Cohen and Deanna Shapiro creating a new platform to give awareness to breast cancer came easy. They decided to organize the Baltimore Film Festival to reperesent women in film and to support John Hopkins Avon Foundation for Breast Cancer. Fifty percent of the proceeds goes to breast cancer research at Johns Hopkins. Deanna Shapiro, a Baltimore native and the one of the cofounders, takes time ot of her very busy schedule to chat with one of our new corespondents Joel Witt.
