Approaching their third year as a band, NYC quintet Soundpool will be touring over the next month, beginning April 12 in New York at The Annex with our own Thrushes. An East Coast-tinged version of French pop courtesy of airy vocals, shoegazing their way onto the stage with the likes of Asobi Seksu and A Place To Bury Strangers, Soundpool will bring the show to Metro Gallery on May 9, along with Skydivers (hailing from Howard County), Philly's Stellarscope, and The Offering.
Soundpool's sophomore album, Dichotomies & Dreamland, is available now. Click the link to purchase.

This is going to be a great show! I heard The Offering broke up and have been replaced on the bill by DC's The Opposite Sex. Is this true? I dug The Offering, but The Opposite Sex are great! Quite looking forward to Soundpool, of course. Watch out for Skydivers. They're up-and-comers...really great band!
