After five years of hammering the hard-hitting rock scene in Charm City, GIZMO is audaciously poised for finer things with their first full length album (in the works). Their animating shows give a close-up dose of TA, an impressive singer that balances the immense fire emanating from its crew of well-seasoned players. With a tight, deep thumping sound all their own, one cannot accurately compare them to other bands. With emphatic messages in their songs, you have to admire their ballsy take on the world and become entangled in the essence of catchy-riffs and melodies. Throughout their revue (and certainly after their set), TA and the high-caliber company that make up GIZMO make the show memorable with their down to earth attitudes. TA even surprises crowds by taking the show out onto the floor. The members of GIZMO, in fact, are very personable and revel in mingling.

            With an emphasis on treading uncharted waters and making their music available to the countless ears of America and beyond, GIZMO’s first priority is inoculating their enthusiasm right in their own backyard. Running efficiently on all cylinders, this band is a like a well maintained Roadster, sleek and with muscle.
