Lo-fi Social Club Grand Reopening!

lofi-5

First band up was York, Pa's Pariah Piranha, instantly I was impressed. It is quick to described them as a female version of Nirvana but they had construction to their style that was pure. Their tight sound held you into the experience. The drummer also contributed to vocals and had an amazing voice.

Next band was Heroin U.K. who my friend Barr is a big fan of. I am glad I didn't miss them. They were a little off center but definitely made up for it with there instrumental performance. My friend describes them as a poor man's-psychedelic-Oasis, I agree. Heroin U.K. have this lovable anger that, I guess, makes you want to wait what happens next.

The last band to play was Two If By Sea who have been favorites of mine for a long time. Their vocals were a lot stronger than usual performances, maybe it was all the heat. And boy was it hot but TIBS kept playing. Until Neil had to announce we were closing early due to over capacity (150+ people). Many eager show goers were still filtering in as the announcement was made. It was a sad state to see everyone leaving Lo-Fi with such glum faces.

Lo-Fi Social Club will be re-opening this Friday with all codes and people at the door.
