The National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) welcomes Portuguese-born artist Paula Rego collection through May 25th. Most of her works, usually a menacing take on storybook, cartoon-ish figures, focus on a quirky psychology and symbolism. Seen in the creative world as both a problematic and celebrated artist, Rego represents exactly what the NMWA looks for in an exhibition. Check out some of her work at the Saatchi Gallery.
