One of 2007's best gets the vinyl treatment as Sleepy Records honors Thrushes' Sun Come Undone in limited-edition fashion. Only 500 copies were made (mine is pretty high in number, so act fast). The release comes with a beauty of a limited edition, numbered and signed print by Miss Amy Jo. The album sounds great on wax, as the vocals really come forward in a presence that far outshines the CD release, and the physical difference between needle-to-record and laser-to-disc carves a texture in the guitars that the ear can feel. The difference is so apparent that it makes this limited run release a true collector's item.
Scoop one up while you can for $15 at Sleepy Records.
