Got shut out from seeing Radiohead this Sunday.
I had Radiohead tickets this Sunday. Good tickets. But I couldn't see anything, because at 10:30 PM, I was still at least two miles away from Nissan Pavilion! Traffic was terrible, the weather was terrible, my whole night was terrible. Met plenty of people at the Taco Bell in Bristow who didn't make it in, either.
We left Baltimore at 5:30. I figured, hey, worst case scenario, we'll get there at 8:00 before Radiohead goes on, right? Wrong. At 9:00, we were still on Route 66. By 10:00, we were being run around in circles because Wellington Road was being detoured by the local police. But the traffic was so bad, I can't imagine the show ended up having a good turnout. Did anyone actually make it??? I'm curious to hear about the set list.
But as far as Nissan Pavilion is concerned, I've had it. I'm never going back to that place. You'll see me in Philly or Jerz from now on if the show's not in Baltimore or DC proper.
Oh, yeah. To Radiohead: I want my money back. Can you get Ticketmaster to take care of that?
