Approval: All advertisements must be approved by the Publisher before they are deemed acceptable for publication.

Cancellation: Advertiser shall have the right to terminate the agreement at any time.  Written notice and outstanding invoices must be received within 30 days.  Advertisers may not cancel orders or make changes after the closing dates of the Magazine.

Publisher shall have the right to terminate the agreement at any time by written notice to Advertiser. If there is unused space contracted, the Advertiser will be reimbursed for any difference between the rate paid and the rate earned.

Publisher shall have the right to terminate the agreement at any time, with or without notice for nonpayment of bills at due date.
Cancellation Penalty Charges: If an agreement is canceled before the full six consecutive issues have been completed, cancellation is subject to repayment of any charges previously waived or discounted for any reason, such as discounts for multiple issues. Such discounts will be due upon receipt of final statement.

Rates: Publisher reserves the right to revise its advertising rates at any time. The new rates immediately apply to business not previously covered by a formal order specifying space and dates of insertion. Advertiser may terminate this agreement on the date the new rates become effective, provided that prior to said effective date Advertiser gives Publisher written notice of such termination.

Terms, Billing & Payment: A 50 percent nonrefundable down payment is required for first-time advertisers. Balance is due within 20 days. Established advertisers are billed on issuance of publication. Terms are net 15 days.  Advertisers are eligible for a 5% discount if they prepay for a full year (6-issues) in advance.

Advertising Agency Commissions: 15% commission is paid to recognized advertising agencies provided that the invoice is paid promptly. Commissions will be automatically forfeited if invoice is not paid within 75 days of the invoice date.

No commission is allowed on tip-in, split-run, or other production charges, or on any mechanical charges.

Advertisers and their agencies accept dual liability for all insertions.

Production Charges: Advertiser will be billed for all production charges incurred by Publisher in converting nonconforming ad material (digital or mechanical) to prepress-ready.  Ad copy and graphics are due to production department no later than 6 weeks before publication date. Advertiser will be allowed to review a proof twice (once for final approval). Advertiser may revise the proof after the initial review. Any subsequent changes will result in additional production charges.

Liability: In the event of any error in printing or other inadvertent publication of an advertisement, Publisher’s liability shall not exceed the cost of the space occupied by the error. Publisher will not be liable for any failure to print, publish or circulate all or any portion of any issue if such failure is due to acts of God, strikes, accidents, or other events beyond Publisher’s control.

The Publisher is not responsible for errors or omissions in any advertising materials provided by the advertiser or its agency (including errors in key numbers) or for changes made after closing dates.

Indemnification: In consideration of publication of an advertisement, the Advertiser and the agency, jointly and severally, will indemnify and hold harmless the Magazine, its owners, directors, officers, agents and employees against expenses (including legal fees) and losses resulting from the publication of an advertisement, including, without limitation, claims or suits for libel, violation of rights of privacy, copyright infringement, or plagiarism.
